May 22nd, 2007. It's been a while since the last update. Sorry about that. It's now official. We'll be playing together with blues legend "John Mayhall and the Bluesbreakers" at the Retro Club in Prague on July 24th! We are very excited about this concert and invite everyone out for which promises to be a fantastic night of music!

March 14th, 2007. As you can see on the concert page, our schedule is filling up with more and more interesting concerts. In April, we will play together with "Tito and Tarantula" (Mexico) at Rock Cafe Prague. You may remember "Tito and Tarantula" from the Quentin Tarantino film "From Dusk to Dawn". In May, we will play at one of the biggest concerts of the year hosted by Radio Beat. It is called "Radio Beat's Concert of Stars" and will be held on May 31st at Lucerna Hall, which is one of the top concert venues in Prague. In July, we will play at the "Benatska Noc" outdoor rock festival in Mala Skala, Czech Republic. This is one of the largest outdoor rock concerts in the country and featured "The Scorpions" as the headlining band last year. In October, we will play together with the legendary 70's glam rock group "Sweet" at the Retro Music Hall in Prague. There are a few more extremely interesting concerts which are currently in negotiation and we will let you know about them as soon as they are confirmed.

February 5th, 2007. It will be a full weekend for us since the day after playing with the Vitkovy Kvartet, we will travel to Schwarzenbach, Germany for a concert at the Rock Keller club. We played there last year and look forward to seeing the fantastic German rock fans again!

December 23rd, 2006. Our first concert of 2007 will be the Radio Beat Rock Concert for the winners of the song competition. It will be held on January 23rd at Vagon Rock Club in Prague. Unfortunately, David will be in America during this time but we will still play. Michal, Milan, Veronika, Vladka and a special guest singer will handle the vocals for this concert. We hope to see you there!

December 17th, 2006. "The Cell" wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! And for 2007 we promise that "The Blues will Never Stop"!

December 16th, 2006. "The Cell" will have a concert on December 19th at 9 p.m. at Kain Rock Club, Husitska 1, Prague.

December 15th, 2006. The song contest on Radio Beat ended on Dec. 12th and "The Cell" came in 2nd place (missing first place by only a few votes). Thanks to everyone who voted for us. On January 2nd, Radio Beat will have a interviews with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place groups and will also have a special concert with these groups on January 23rd at Vagon Rock Club in Prague.

December 6th, 2006. On Monday, December 4th, David and Michal did a live interview on the radio station "Radio Coteaux" (based in Toulouse, France). They talked about the band, the new album and the possibility of making it up to Toulouse to play some concerts. Songs from The Cell's album are in rotation on this station, as well as 5 other radio stations throughout France.
