| May 25th. Our good friends, the MBA Band www.mbaband.com, just released their new CD and invited us to play with them for their CD release party held in Mlada Boleslav. Another of our friends, Blue Rocket www.bluerocket.cz, also played during this evening. The club was packed with Southern Rock fans and they were taken to Dixie on the magic MBA carpet. The MBA Band were rocking the house and ended their set with „Sweet Home Alabama“ which set the house on fire! It was a fine trip to the Southland and everyone had a great time. |

May 18th. We had a concert with Olympic this past Friday at TJ Lokomotiva in Pilsen (home of the original Pilsner beer). The concert hall was packed and the people were really great. Of course, on the way home we had were forced to buy a few of the city‘s most famous product.
On Saturday we had another concert with Olympic in Benatky nad Jizerou. This time it was an outdoor concert on the river. Beautiful location and fully packed with people. Great time!
Immediately after the concert in Benatky nad Jizerou we had to hoof it to an outdoor music festival located on the other side of the country. It was about a three hour drive there (the Czech Republic is a small country!) and we arrived right before midnight, immediately unloaded our equipment, set-up and started playing. Although it may seem like it would not be the best scenario, to rush and immediately start playing, it really is the best for a band. Your energy level is up and you‘ve not become complacent while waiting around to play. That’s why the big successful music groups always arrive right before they start to play. The people were energized at this festival and this in turn gave us even more energy to put on a good show. |

| May 14th. We just returned from the „New Orleans Outdoor Festival“…..held in downtown Furth, Germany! It was absolutely fantastic. For David, it was like coming home. A New Orleans atmosphere, brass jazz band playing and walking through the crowd and of course, great blues music! The downtown area where the concert was held was absolutely full of people and they were waiting for the exact style of music we play so needless to say it was a big success. It was a very professionally organized concert, really nice people and we had a great time. As we were leaving the city the next day to go home to the Czech Republic, we saw a replica of the Mississippi Queen Riverboat on the Furth river! Absolutely amazing! |

| April 27th. Our first concert with Olympic was this past Saturday. It was held at the Velke Bitesi culture center and was a packed house. Great time and good reception from the fans. |

| April 12th. The Cell has just started cooperation with the „Best I.A.“ booking agency based in Prague, Czech Republic. This agency is owned by one of the Czech Republic’s most famous musicians, Petr Janda, from the rock group Olympic. Petr is also one of the three judges from the TV talent show „X Factor“, which is similar to America’s „American Idol“. One of our first bookings with this agency is our 14 concert Spring/Summer tour with Olympic throughout the Czech Republic. Concert dates are located on the „Concert“ section of our website. |

| February, 28th, 2008. At the beginning of May, the band will be travelling to Fürth - Norimberk, Germany to play at the New Orleans Festival ( www.new-orleans-festival.de). David is especially looking forward to this festival since he is a Louisiana native and grew up in the shadow of this world famous city. It will be interesting to play a festival which is such a far distance from its namesake. We can't wait! |

| February 22nd, 2008. The band just received word that we'll open for the upcoming John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers show in Prague. The show will be held at Retro Music Hall in Prague on July 14th. We were very happy to be able to open for John Mayall last summer in Prague and it's really an honor to be invited back to play together with him again this year. It's always great to be able to share the stage with one of your idols and main influences. |
