The spirit of Rock 'n Roll is in the air, and has been given Martin Endl the strength of Little Richard, the flash of Jimi Hendrix, and the handsome looks of Keith Richards! After a sometime leave of absence due to illness, Martin has been able to participate on stage! At first, he sang "Give Me an Answer" at the Rockover Fest in Hr
Friday, October 24th – Lucky Pero in Jindrichov Hradec. We traveled to southern Czech Republic for this concert and were greeted there by many of our friends and fans. This evening was planned for two groups but our friends The MBA Band have unfortunately broken up so it was up to The Cell to fill in the gaps. So as a opening band Michal, Martin and Tomas took the stage and performed acoustic blues. Then Milan and Leos joined them on stage and performed a few numbers with this „opening group“. Finally, David and Veronika took the stage and the proper group „The Cell“ started the main event. A fun time for all!
Friday, October 31st – Castle Club in Hranice. We were able to see our Moravian friends this past weekend in Hranice. This club is located underground and is a musician’s paradise. Musicians not only on stage but also in the audience! The fans in the audience were great and as musicians do, listened closely to everything we played! A great atmosphere and appreciative audience. Afterwards, we had a good time talking together with our peers.
Saturday, November 1st – Southern Rock Night in Kolin. We were happy to get an invitation again this year to this second annual event and we enjoyed seeing all of our southern rock friends and fans. The group „El Camino“ started the evening, followed by our good friends Blue Rocket which had two new background singers in the group. They sounded great. Then came the group Pumpa, which rocked the house. We took the stage last and at the end of the concert we played two songs from the repertoire of the MBA Band, who were in attendance. They took they stage with us and we had a good ole time to close out the evening. The founding members of The Cell’s fan club were also in attendance for this concert.

Now our Fall season of concerts starts and our first event was held in Prague 4 which had an outdoor music and fashion show in the park on the hill. The host for this event was our old friend Pavel Malus from Radio Beat and one of the groups to play at this event were our friends the „Vitkovo Quarteto“. If you remember, we did a winter tour with the Vitkovo Quarteto in January/February of this year. Pavel was also the host for this winter tour so it was like old times again. Great concert and nice to be together with our friends again.
On Tuesday, October 14th we had a concert in the Vagon Rock Club in downtown Prague. We played alone this evening so we were really able to stretch our legs and play all of our songs. We really opened up and stripped the bark off the trees! It was great to see our Prague fans again after such a long time. During the summer, we played everywhere except Prague. Unfortunately, our singer Vladka was sick so The Cell was only 7 instead of our usual 8.
And now, what can you look forward to in the near future? On Friday, October 24th we will travel to Jindrichov Hradec to play with our friends the MBA Band. It will be a Southern Rock evening. The following Friday, October 31st we will again travel to Moravia to the Castle Club in Hranice. On Saturday, November 1st we will be playing with some of our southern rock friends in the 2nd Annual Southern Rock Festival in Kolin. And finally on November 22nd we will travel to Hremenin, near Mlada Boleslav, to play at the Fall Southern Rock night. We hope to see you at one, or all, of these concerts.

Summer is over…and we keep thinking about all of the concerts and festivals we played, all the kilometers we traveled and all the gas stations we stopped at to get drinks/beer/food/toalet trips…but you know….HELL YEAH it was worth it! We met a lot of great people, picked up a lot of new fans and got to introduce our music to a lot of new ears! If you were able to see any of our shows, we sure hope you liked it! It sure was great for us! This past weekend of playing all took place on Saturday in Kutna Hora and Mnichovice. Both open air festivals. For these two concerts we had a special guest, Franta Honig Jr., who sang „Out of Time“ and „Rock Star“. This was Franta’s premiere on stage and he was definitely a success, especially with the women in the audience. We wish Franta all the best for the future. Both concerts were fantastic and we made sure to blow out the summer season with something for our fans to remember!

We are sad to report that after many great concerts together with the MBA Band and after they just released a brand new CD, they have decided to call it quits and have broken up. We are very sorry to hear this news but wish all of the members success in their future endeavors.

We can never get enough of Moravia, which by the way, was where we played this past weekend.
On Saturday, August 16th we played the outdoor festival Trnkobrani in Vizovice and then traveled on to Frydek Mistek to play the Outdoor Music Festival there. As always, we had a great reception from the Moravian audience and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The summer festival season is slowly coming to a close now. We will end our festival season of concerts with a double header. In one week we will play a concert in Kutna Hora during the day and then travel to David’s hometown of Mnichovice to play the Rockovani Outdoor Festival.

After three weeks with no concerts, we will be starting back up with a bang! Two concerts on Saturday, August 16th. The first concert will be at the outdoor festival Trnkobrani, which is a huge outdoor festival held in Vzovice. After this performance, we will have a very long ride to the outdoor music festival in Frydek Mistek, which is near the border of Germany. But we don’t mind. We’ll be traveling in style in Pepa’s new Winnebago. Let’s go!

Our concert travels across the Czech and European countryside has now taken on a whole new meaning. Our favorite driver Pepa (OK, our only driver) has just purchased a new Winnebago. With a kitchen, shower, bathroom, table, bench seating and a TV, our trips will be made in unbeatable comfort.
Our concerts this weekend started on Friday, when we played together with Olympic at Maly Hrastice. We will remember this concert for a long time to come. Not only for the great reception by the fans but also because of our luxurious dressing room and catering. Absolutely fanatastic! We love you Hrastice!
On Saturday, we had a double dish of concerts. We first traveled to Zivanice where we played at the outdoor arena. After this concert, we had to quickly make a break for our next concert that evening which was a Motorcyle Club event. When we arrived a very young power trio (16 – 18 years old) were playing on stage and were absolutely ROCKING THE HOUSE! We were blown away! We took the stage afterwards and had a great time playing. A huge stage and we everyone in the band agreed afterwards, the loudest monitoring on stage EVER. Our ears were ringing all the way back home. But boy o‘ boy, we ROCKED!
